So far more than 50 local social care givers have joined a special training course about dementia in Kecskemét (Ginkonet). The blended course contains basic information about the diversity of dementia diseases, how to handle critical care situations, case manage the changes of behaviour among patients, and practical suggestions for care giving (via using e-learning platform) and presence-based workshops to discuss different situations and case studies. Care givers will work closely with dementia coordinators to support people with dementia and their families in the city.
